Speaking Life Healthcare offered workshops on speech and language development for a program for expectant mothers that I coordinate. Daphne MacDonald, Founder of Speaking Life, is a gifted and enthusiastic facilitator. She led these workshops in a way that completely engaged mothers and allowed them to walk away with fresh knowledge around language acquisition. She also encouraged the mothers to view themselves as their child's first parent and gave practical suggestions for what that can look like. I can only imagine what dynamic speech therapy services are offered to individuals under her leadership. I'm so grateful Speaking Life Healthcare is available in the Memphis community.
