Mercado de la encarnación sits under a popular meeting point in the centro de Sevilla,(la setas)the mushrooms as its known to locals this is due to the modern structure above which has modernised this area and surrounded in tiny streets filled with boutiqueshops and cafe bars.parked full of all you would expect from a typical city center market. The hustle and bustle and the smel of fresh fruit and veg locally sorsed and fish from the Atlantic and surrounded with bars and resteraunts ideal for resting your feet a little a cheeky cerveca or some tapas. This is a must visit go to area if your around town and has uncovered remains from ancient seville unearthed under the market to explore and great panoramic views of the city from above.

Very interesting structure, and worth visiting. The Roman ruins on display in the basement level deserve viewing. Nice market too, with respectable selections available.

Superb local market for most produce you might need from meat and cheese to fish and fresh vegetables. Several of the places offer tapas, beer and wine along with food to take away. There are also some bars on the outside of the market, making it worth a visit at most times of the day.

Nice market. I have been to over 20 markets all over Spain. This one is definitely a nice one. Top 10 in Spain? Hm maybe. Make sure you check the freshness of items before you purchase them. Lots of varieties.
