Handing a car back after 3 years. Was told if the car was worth more than the balloon payment you could carry it on into your next car if not you would receive the rest of the money depending on condition of the car. Took the car back yesterday with a view miner scratches and scuffed wheel wheels. Also some peeling on the leather seat. This also happened to the stirring wheel which they had replaced as it should not had happened and was covered under warranty. I had only noticed the seat the week before so thought it would be the same, my mistake. 2 weeks ago was told how much equity was in the car. On the day of returning was told you only get the equity if you are buying another car. This is not what I was told in the beginning of the contract. So was hit with a bill for miner scratches and scuffs to wheels. Then told I my get another bill for internal damage to seat from finance company as mercedes only deal with body work. Which again can not recall any conversation at beginning of contract. I believe if I was going to carry on and get another car from them then I do not think I would have been charged anything but because I handed the car back every little detail was looked for. I'm in no doubt I will receive another bill from finance company.If equity is in the car if you are staying with them but is not if you hand the car back.That is all they had to say. Sad thing is my wife was about to change her car later in the year from a Range rover to Mercedes, It will not be happening now. Very disappointed in the service.

Great car buying experience at Sytners , Northampton - in spite of Covid difficulties. Within 8 hours of walking into the showroom we were driving away with our new car. We got a fair deal and were very well looked after by the sales staff (thanks Greg).
