Chocolate chip cookie was good. Very small selection of pastries, but nice welcoming vibe. Very 90s esque. I would go again.

I come here every Friday to grab 2 croissants and a pretzel roll for me and my wife. The pastries are incredible, which is why we keep coming back! My only issue is with regards to sanitation. Employees open up the inside of pastry bags by sticking their hands in before dropping pastries in with tongs, and grab mustard containers with bare hands and drop them on top of the pastries (I usually wouldn't mind, but I've become much more attentive of things like this during COVID). Also, I found a strand of hair in my croissant the last two times I came. The first time I just thought \well things like this happen\, but two consecutive times was too much. Ended up tossing my croissant both times..
I love Shawn's! His baked goods are absolutely delicious - you have to swing by on Friday to get a loaf of challah bread and maybe a chocolate chip cookie too. Of course I can't forget about the croissants. Maybe I just love everything he makes. The coffee is on point and Shawn is always super friendly and welcoming!
