Peaceful place to hike. There are horse trails,bike trails and hiking trails. Nice shade trees for a picnic. The lake has a ramp foe boats.

1.19 miles of beauty! Wear comfy shoes. Lots of friendly people waving as they pass you by. Several stopping points marked with the cutest little gazebos...so you can catch your breath! Not that I needed to stop...okay, I may have stopped at one or two....four at the most!!!

Really love this park. It is one of best parks 1hr drive of jackson. Lots of ducks, cranes around lake. Trails are well maintained, great picnic areas.

A great city park. We went for some exercise and did the upper lake trail more than a few times. Enough hills to be challenging for us and beautiful lake views along the 4.5 mile trail. The lower lake trail is a flat, paved 1 mile loop. There are picnic areas, fishing spots, horse trails, and non-motorized trail bike paths.
