I cannot give this school a good review. I had the honor or dishonor of visiting several of your programs, plus observing some of your dances for your Jr. High and High School students. I was shocked by what I saw. You really never knew I was there, I was. As I walked by several classrooms, I noticed teachers calling students names (example) stupid girl, idiot, you are so dumb. This is a form of adult bullying, in front of their peers. It is not a very professional classroom by any means. Next, at lunch time and at the parties I noticed young girls, throwing food, and other objects at several other students. You have a problem at Lamar. Is this how you maintain a Christian atmosphere. I think not. I was at the program you had that was about bullying the other day, and I was also taken back those that were not even listening to the message. You see, I have worked in SC, GA and MS on this topic of Self-Esteem, Bullying and Drug Awareness. For the first time in my life I was taken back by both adults and your students. You see I have learned that to bully or make fun of others, that they person or persons doing this bullying have to make themselves feel better, because they have no self-esteem. Lamar is really a lost cause when it comes to this. You are not the Christian School that you claim to be. I will pray that this changes. But after what I saw at one of the dances, I think not.

This is a great school! The teachers are extremely quilified and gifted. Love the teacher to child ratio. Our child is really excelling in this nurturing Christian environment.
