I have taken guitar lessons with TeJay Rogers for quite awhile now, and it has been a great experience. He supported me in any direction I wanted to go with music, and introduced me to a variety of patterns and techniques to get to my music goals. He taught me the basics of how to read music, and also how to put my own feel to it. He is a pleasure to be around and it is a very relaxed atmosphere. Thank you TeJay for all your patience and talents.
Knowledgeable, creative, perceptive, positive and passionate in his talent! TeJay is an artist and a soul-reacher.. I learned so much in a very short time, from a very good-hearted person - thanks TeJay!!!
My daughter has been taking guitar and banjo lessons from Tejay at Weatherhead Music for the past 4 years - he has helped her in writing and recording her own music. In seeing how much enjoyment she gets from playing her banjo and guitar, it made me realize, I would like to learn - I have been with Tejay for about 1 1/2 months and am loving it!!!! I am a left handed player and was worried i wouldn't be able to learn from a right handed instructor - Tejay has made it so easy and fun to learn - I'm actually playing and it makes me so happy!!!!!! I highly recommend Weatherhead Music if you have ever wanted to learn to play a musical instrument!!!!! Thanks Tejay!!!!!!
TeJay at Weatherhead took on my 82 year old Dad as a beginning guitarist. TeJay was flexible and helpful not only with finding a time that worked for Dad, but also in receiving Dad's unique situation. A few years ago, Dad's car was totaled when hit by a drunk driver. He was understandably sore and had some physical pain and headaches, but the neurologist warned of early onset of dementia. We're seeing the effects of that without doubt now. Dad's lessons began with relearning and review and then working on new skills. TeJay even helped Dad find a way around arthritic fingers with new ways to achieve chords.Dad really enjoyed it - and TeJay. Id' give 4.5 stars if I could. Give TeJay a shot. You'll likely be glad you did.
