I was up here in Merritt practicing some archery with my cousin and I stoped into the shop to look at a compound bow this guy had on sale there for around 500. When in the store he claimed he was able to shoot bow left and right handed and that it didn’t really matter what hand the bow was originated towards which regardless to him being an ambidextrous shooter or not is patently false information however I was very polite and courteous. The next morning I called him up to ask what the draw length was on this compound bow under the advice of several archers in the area as I’m quite tall and it would be important for me to get a bow that was long enough for my size. This man who I believe is the owner of the shop was so extremely rude to me! First of all he acted like he had never heard of a draw length on a compound bow before in his entire life and I was totally fine with that and said I was interested in buying the bow and I’d come by later that day to measure the draw length with my cousin to make sure it was the right length before purchasing this expensive piece of equipment. At this point this man told me to “fuck off” over the phone and hung up on me. I do not recommend shopping at this store or selling items through this store on consignment. Further more I strongly advise against following the advice this person puts out in any way shape or form, he does not know what he is talking about and he is not a reasonable or respectable person.

Wish I could submit a rating properly - went in at 11:30 on a Monday - and while the store appears nicely well stocked, the door was locked and there was no sign indicating when staff would return - presumably from lunch. Will try again next time I am in town.
