Pulau Tioman and all the islands in the South China Sea are hot spots for snorkelling, diving and fishing. We were there for snorkelling. The water condition has deteriorated over the past 15 years. Many corals are dead due to pollution and over-fishing even though marine conservation efforts attempt to preserve the natural marine beauty. The water was quite clear although far from being perfect, we could see corals and fishes easily.
