Always helpful on the phone no matter what the query. All vets are so good with my pets and put them at ease on all visits. Recently took my dog to them and even under the covid restrictions they were brilliant They even picked up on a infection with my dogs paws and treated it with ongoing advice and medication. My dog has no issues when going to Ash vets and will happily go with them without me present as He trusts them.

Avoid - tried to give my new pup a third jab after its first two. Even though the card clearly showed it had already had this particular jab. When I called to question why my pup needed the same jab twice I was given different answers and told it was “new guidance”. Changed to a different vet who confirmed my pup had already had the necessary jabs and didn’t need another until next year. Incompetent at best, trying to swindle me for more money for unnecessary jabs, at worst

Took my dog here to be put to sleep. He was a very old dog and had many problems and was not able to walk very well. Due to Covid we where not allowed into the surgery so made an appointment. We were dead on time and rang to say that we where in the car park. We waited 25 min before the young vet came out. He new our wishes for our dog to be put to sleep but insisted in trying to examine our dog in the heavy rain it looked like he was trying to get us to treat the dog not follow our wishes. He then dragged our poor dog into the surgery without any comfort to us and no instructions of what to do next. 20min later we had a brisk phone call from the reception asking for our card details, not a word of comfort at all. It seams the practice is only in it for the money not in the care of the animals and owners. This used to a first class practice that has gone to the dogs. Very upset at a very vulnerable time.
