What a beautiful place. So professional but really friendly. My massage was amazing, relaxed me so much, I was falling asleep on the drive home and I suffer with insomnia. The girls are amazing. Stunning room, so relaxing. Definitely booking soon. 5 stars. Steph you've got amazing staff and beautiful premises xxx

Amazing experience from start to finish, as soon as you walk through the door you're instantly at ease and relaxed. The treatments from Lowri & Katie were perfect and everything about the spa makes you completely forget where you are in the world. If you've not visited the Rose yet, get booking; it'll be the best present you can give yourself this Christmas!

The Rose Retreat offers high-end,sumptuous spa quality services for a fraction of the price. Set in idyllic surroundings, this jewel is Merthyr’s crown is a paradise of relaxation & serenity. At the Rose, each client is treated with care & consideration. The staff are friendly, reliable & professional. I would highly recommend this establishment as somewhere to go to relax & recharge, spend time with friends being pampered, as a wedding gift for a couple to enjoy together, for time spent introducing little ones to luxury lifestyle & as a oasis of peace during this uncertain & unsettling time.

Had such a lovely time at the rose retreat spa! Although the hot stone massage was amazing, it’s not just a massage it’s a whole experience! It was such a sunny day I even had a stroll around the castle grounds afterwards to top it all off! Beautiful! Will definitely be returning!
