WHO WE ARE Launch Pad Aviation LLC was founded in 2019 and serves as Sandhills Aviation's primary aircraft maintenance and fabrication shop for its fleet of imagery aircraft including Cessan 172 and Piper Aztecs. Although we are a newly founded company, we are not lacking on experience nor the resources needed to provide our customers with their aviation-related needs from a simple oil change to full on engine replacement and everything in-between. Based out of Falcon Field Municipal Airport (KFFZ), part of the Phoenix Metro area, we have many resources at our disposal to accommodate your aviation needs. Our management team has many years of experience acting as mechanics, inspectors, pilots, and fleet managers, so we are prepared to handle every aspect of your maintenance needs. QUALIFIED MECHANICS Launch Pad Aviation has a staff of A&P mechanics, IA's, and technicians working on their A&P certificate. Launch Pad Aviation’s friendly and experienced staff are more than happy to work with you on any project you require, whether it’s a regular annual inspection or a major unscheduled maintenance event, while providing you with a realistic time-frame for completion of your aircraft maintenance project. EMPLOYMENT Launch Pad Aviation is currently seeking aircraft maintenance technicians for our local operations as well as our mobile maintenance team. Our mobile maintenance team utilizes company owned aircraft to travel to our customers locations. Ideal applicants have a FAA Airframe and Powerplant Certificate with 2 years fixed wing, piston engine experience, and are self-motivated problem solvers.
