The staff at the shop were great from the moment I walked in the store. They helped me pick equipment (vs selling me something) and the instructor Kelly B I would highly recommend to anyone wanting to learn to dive. He is an excellent instructor. I will for sure be buying my gear from these folks. A

Best place to learn to dive, buy or rent gear, and take trips. Ask for Scuba Steve, Fernando, Phil, or Jeff. Great instructors. I just got back from a week long dive trip to Grand Cayman with these guys and it was the best trip ever!!

Very helpful staff and reasonable prices. I was referred to a place that could repair my damaged wet suit. They had a few that were my size, but limited selection on site. I did purchase new boots which performed perfectly and look better than my older gear. The staff were very friendly and they organize frequent events for SCUBA enthusiasts in the area. I highly recommend the shop and will be coming back for all my future needs. The only complaint would be the limited retail selection on site, but they will order items for you.

They push their own gear that is low selection and high prices. Other scuba shop in mesa has much better selection

I just dove with the Scuba Shop and wanted to send a few compliments their way. Over the years I have dove with numerous dive shops and I can honestly say the Scuba Shop is one of the most professional and efficiently organized operations I have ever seen. They just moved 25 divers from Phoenix to San Diego and back, and all the gear too. I was diving with them for the first time and it was great. Their staff made me feel welcome and it was obvious to me that they have some talented people on the payroll. Anyone in the Phoenix Area wishing to get certified or take additional training should look them up. They also have a large group of loyal divers who have been with them for years. That's always a good sign in terms of customer service. And the diving was great too. We spent 3 days at Catalina and San Clemente Island (see pictures). And using the Horizon Dive Boat was smart too. That is a well run operation-great food and crew. Having seen how the Scuba Shop runs things, I have no doubt that I will dive with them again. Maybe I'll try one of their Mexico Trips.
