Moving my mom into an assisted living community was one of the hardest, emotional decisions that I've made as a caregiver. Even after I dropped her off, I was on pins and needles until I called to hear how her first day went. By the time I called, my mom had already made friends, signed up for a field trip, and participated in the social activities for the day! My heart was elated and tears of joy filled my eyes. Nothing makes me happier than my mom feeling safe and content. She's has been the most loving and supportive mom all our lives and I delight in the fact that I found a place that reminds her how much her kids love her!!
Bradfield is an awesome place to work. Everyone is passionate about what they do and love the residents as if they were their own family. It makes coming to work every day easy.
I could share all the negative things about this place but I don’t feel like writing a book. However, I will say the director doesn’t know what she’s doing. She treats the families extremely poorly, rude, and unprofessionally. There really is also poor communication between the employees and even directors. This place is a joke and only worried about money. Won’t clean bathrooms, will yell at residents, most residents don’t eat, they will Medicate residents so they don’t have to deal with them, this place is understaffed. I do not recomend this place to anyone. Please find another place to take your loved one to.
If I could give this facility zero stars, I would. In two years time, this company went from owning 70 properties to over 300. All that matters to them is their bottom line. In the 2 years my parents lived there, there were 5 directors. It's a revolving door for employees which speaks volumes. The food was inedible and many times I saw the residents leave the table without eating. My parents called me multiple times to tell me they couldn't eat the food and were hungry. I was the only person that ever cleaned their bathroom. Supposedly they have transportation, but a company van sat in the parking lot unregistered for months. It was a terrible experience and my parents were so happy when I moved them out of here.
