I am so thankful for Encore Academy of the Arts! They have been a life saver during the pandemic. My son got a drum set for Christmas, but we hadn’t been able to set up drum lessons because of hectic schedules. Encore saved the day! He has been taking drum lessons online since April, and we are loving it! I can’t believe how much he has learned in such a short time. His teacher, Rafa, is amazing and inspires my son to do his best. Virtual drum lessons went so well that my daughter decided to take guitar lessons virtually. She had never played the guitar before. She has been taking virtual lessons with Mitchell since June. I am so impressed with how far she’s come! Mitchell is great, and my daughter is now learning Taylor Swift songs (along with the basics)! Both teachers keep the kids engaged and really help the kids learn and love their instruments. It has been so great that we are starting virtual Cuban dance lessons for my daughter next week. Everyone at Encore has been a dream to work with. They are super friendly and responsive, the utmost professionals. And now my house is filled with the sound of music ️

My older sister started taking lessons for both piano and voice at a young age. She finished her studies at Encore and was accepted to Frost School of Music at the University of Miami. Needless to say, I also took lessons in guitar and piano before graduating this past year. As a passionate ballet dancer, I can honestly say that Encore is and will always be family to me. I have played the piano like I never imagined. My interest in music grew with every passing year. And although I will be moving on in my college studies, I will take my music with me. Now leaving my little sister to finish her music studies at Encore as well. It is truly family in this place!!!

My grandson has been involved with Encore Academy for over two years. He has been taking piano, drums, voice and musical theater classes. Sadly,the pandemic stopped the world in its tracks. The dedication of the teachers at Encore will not be deterred. Their passion for teaching the arts is limitless. They have worked tirelessly creating a virtual world for the students. My grandson is now taking voice and drum virtual classes at home. The teachers are willing to accommodate and guide their students through this new normal we are being forced to endure. Their expertise extends to children of all ages. I got in on the act. I have been taking virtual piano classes with Debora Sanchez all summer. She is very kind and patient. Believe me...it works. I am learning to read music and beginning to play the piano for the first time in my life. All from home. The classes are totally private. They function exactly as the in person classes. If you are apprehensive about venturing out these days.... this is the perfect option for you and your children.

Encore is the very best place where you can take your child to learn about arts and complement his of her education. They offer instruction in a wide range of art foms including music, dance, plastic arts, etc. Their staff is superb in their dedication to the children's education amazing. It is very common to see children who don't want to leave after their lessons have ended, they have a very good time there while learning a lot.

Definitely the Best Music & Arts Academy in Miami! Coming from another school in CG with a very high teacher rotation and a "cold" atmosphere, a friend of mine recommended Encore Academy of the arts to me. This academy has exceptional, experienced teachers who love to teach and foster the talent of their students. The owner Debora, who is truly one of the most passionate and dedicated women I ever met, is the heart of this academy: light-hearted, funny, energetic, always in a good mood and striving for perfection. She gives so much LOVE and you feel being part of the family. She is also my piano teacher - I am 39 and started to play piano around 4,5 yrs ago! :) They have several recitals and concerts per year in big locations here in Miami and everything is very professional and well organized. The new location in South Miami is spacious and modern, lots of rooms w pianos (even a grand piano) and other instruments, two ballet halls with special ballet floor and of course a band room. The academy covers literally EVERYTHING in arts, from learning instruments like piano, guitar, violin, drums, singing classes or musical production, sound recording, band etc to ballet, flamenco, cuban dance and more as well as visual arts painting, drawing, mummy and me courses and much much more.... Parking is right in front or behind of the building (always available). They also have a well equipped waiting room for parents w a TV and toys and homework desks for siblings. I highly recommend this place!
