We dined here during our recent vacation to Miami. Place was highly recommended by local friends. We had a very nice time, with a fantastic view of the ocean and downtime Miami lights at night. Food was great! We were driving from Orlando’s airport and the staff was fairly accommodating when we called them to let them know we might be a few minutes late due to an unforeseen delay by the car rental company, especially when we explained we had just flew in from Mexico City. Due to COVID they have limited capacity and are very strict with reservation times and limiting dining experience to 2 hours per group and are super strict implementing this measure. Our waiter was friendly and attentive, the general vibe was upscale and nice. My only suggestion would be to train a bit better their staff to manage better their new ‘limited dining experience time’, while I completely understand the need to implement this due to the wait times, I feel that staff sometimes can be a bit pushy and rush customers to skip appetizers in order to order main course... but overall a nice experience. I dined here to celebrate my birthday and it did not disappoint. Everything was perfect. We had the perfect table to watch the most amazing sunset. The food and drinks were great. Our servers were great and friendly. It was honestly a 10/10 experience and my favorite dinner in Miami.
Surprisingly, the food was delicious, and the environment was so welcoming. I really enjoy the specialties of their fish, as well as their roast pot and ribs. The service has always been fast and polite. A very good recommendation and recognition for this restaurant and its employees!
I did not know almost anything in the menu but wow this place was great. If your looking for seafood or gluten free items for luxury dining come here! Amazing food and fair prices
Our first time at La Mar and I can only say that it was a wonderful experience. We went to celebrate our anniversary. I ordered ceviche and you could feel how fresh the fish was, delicious. beautiful restaurant and the view is amazing.
