This zoo is pretty good overall. They had a little Oktoberfest area today, which was a nice surprise. They have a good variety of animals and habitats. If you go on one of the few sunny days, the animals should be out. My only complaints are the bathrooms need better upkeep and too many exhibits closed at the same time.

Big event space. Came here for a dancehall event during Miami Carnival. Place was looking empty at 0100. We left and came back at 0230 and it was packed.
