This place SHOULD NOT call itself a skilled nursing facility as nursing care is the last thing you receive here, let alone skilled. The \Nursing\ staff simply do not care to do their jobs, patients are left for hours without any atttention to their needs. The place itself is a mess, the staff on Unit B are EXTREMELY unprofessional and in all honesty this place should be shut down. The Rehab dept and staff are better but the teams do not communicate with each other and they do not work together for the patient's recovery, therefore any good work that is achieved through rehab is soon undone by the nursing staff. The nurse supervisor tries to help if a complaint is made but nothing changes in the long term, you basically have to make a complaint every day if you want to make sure your loved one is looked after. The nursing director is never there, we tried leaving messages to speak to him and it is only once we told them that we were reporting them to Medicare and the Insurance company did he call back to let us know he is \taking things into his own hands\ whatever that meant, well need less to say nothing changed. The inpatient social worker tries her best and works to help the patient and family but when it comes to discharge the SW managing the discharge is obviously lazy, does NOT do the relevant planning, everything is very last minute, and your loved one is discharged unsafely, without the necessary equipment for care. I am very suspicious of the positive reviews of this place and frankly do not believe them after my family's experience. To rate this place positively means that you are totally unaware of what really goes on here. This place only delays patients recovery, I will NOT reccomend it to anyone, Medicare and insurance companies seriously needs to investigate what goes on here as the rating should be 0 not 3.5.

This place is an absolute sewer and should be condemned by Department of Housing Urban Authorities and other governed officiating authorities. The stench that meets new prospective residents and tourists is enough to raise concern and red flags. The piercing screams and cries of patients/residents are disheartening. The size of Palmetto Cock Roaches should also raise attention to inspectors/inspection. My father will sleep in a card board box underneath a bridge alongside our immediate family members before he EVER sets foots back into that forbidden God forsaken place again ️

I must say I have experienced a very good experience with the Sinai Plaza they take care of my mom must say when my mom came there she wasn't doing good at all and thanks to the staff of Sinai Plaza my mom is doing so much better and I like to say thank you for taking care of her ..my mom name is Alice Paquette and I like to say thank you all so much for taking care of my mom I appreciate you all so much thank you much love......Happy hoidays..

The family is very appreciative of the caring our love one is receiving. The facility is always clean, and the staff is initiative. A major turn off in some nursing facilities is the smell. At this location its at a bare minimum. In comparrison to other places in Miami this one is on my list of recommendation.
