not as good as in Osaka. only go there when you have plenty of time as the pancake takes time to prepare. I overheard the next table waited 45 mins, same here

40 for a tea bag served like this. You may judge yourself. I ordered this as I’m told all FRESH juice on the menu were sold out and only served bottled ones. I couldn’t doubt if it was once fresh. Just didn’t feel like it. Could be an option to sit and wait for friends. Know nothing about its desserts though. Service was good.

A nice place for afternoon tea in the busy Mongkok district. It’s inside the famous Langham Place shopping mall (at the basement level from the MTR exit). We have tried the matcha puffy pancake. It took 30 min to prepare but was worth waiting. Service is very attentive too.

I was having an afternoon tea in Micasadeco & Café in Langham Place yesterday with my sister. We order two pancakes, black sesame pancake and ricotta cheese fluffy pancake respectively. We waited for a bit long cuz the pancake were made immediately right after we ordered. This café’s ricotta cheese fluffy pancake recipe is exactly the same as Japanese head restaurant. It was rich of milk, egg and cheese flavor. They are all in a good balance and chewy. The brown sugar syrup made perfection still more perfect. The black sesame pancake was really made by real black sesame and butter. The cream beside was very firm and smooth with rich milky taste. Found some sea salt on it too! The red fruit soda was little bit sour which made the meal less greasy. The caramel latte was my top pick in this café since I love caramel so much!

Hong Kong is a food paradise having many types of cuisine, today we chose a Japanese café. Clouds were all over the ceilings of the café. My boyfriend ordered an all’ arrabbiata Kyoto style. It tasted a bit spicy and appetizing, but not oily. There were katsuobushi and sergestid shrimp as toppings. The eggplants were his favorite part. I chose an Italian sausage and zucchini lemon cream pasta. The sausages were made into meatballs. With the white sauce and black pepper on the top, the taste of dish was moderate, not too salty. The size was fit for one person. We also ordered a smoke salmon and spinach eggs benedict which was my favourite in this café! The egg is surprisingly an onsen egg! Salmon balanced well with spinach. It’s kinda light dish for us. At last, I added an ice lemon soda which is absolutely suitable for hot summer! I think the price of dish was acceptable. Hope to visit this café again!

u003cRicotta Cheese Souffle Pancake\u003e Taking over Pacific Coffee Company in Langham Place, Micasadeco & Cafe Hong Kong is a cafe that serves pasta, salad, and of course, pancakes! All my attention was on the pancakes. I actually came here for the fluffy (souffle) pancakes. There were signs telling you that it would take 30 to 45 minutes for the souffle pancakes to be prepared upon ordering, which was fine to me as I had quite some time to kill and got a book to read. Even though I was mentally prepared for the wait, the waiting time of 45 minutes still surprised me as the cafe was quite empty when I visited at 5pm on a Wednesday afternoon. Nevertheless, it’s worth the wait. The souffle pancakes were so fluffy that I could wobble them when I was moving the tray around. I was recommended to have the pancakes in three way - original, with cream, with maple syrup. Took the first piece off the pancake tower and had it with a bit of butter. It’s oh-so-good! Very airy, a little bit cheesy (could have more ricotta cheese though), and not stuffing at all. Very enjoyable indeed! Second piece off the tower, with a bit of maple syrup. Maple syrup is not really my thing for pancake. So I smeared a bit of cream to go with it. Gosh! The cream was superb! Fresh and rich, just perfect! Last piece with all the cream. Best flavor of all three. I finished all three pieces in like 15 minutes. They were this good, haha!

Not too bad for a newly opened fast food type cafe. Although you bring a remote bell with you after ordering the food at the counter, the waiters would bring your food to your table for now. Not sure how it will be done later when they are well established. Difficult to save your seat when you are dining alone. The toasted bread of the sandwich is too dry and very crunchy.
