Michael was highly recommended to us by several of our friends and he did NOT disappoint! After working with Michael for our engagement pictures and wedding day, my wife and I could not imagine using any other photographer. From the first time we met Michael he became more than just our photographer, he became one of our close friends. Michael is professional, prepared, experienced, and most of all a truly great guy. My wife and I can both be a bit camera shy, but Michael made us feel more than comfortable and that can be seen in every incredible image he captures. Michael was always available to speak with us at any moment during the 2 years we had booked him, and we always looked forward to spending time with him. Michael came early and stayed late for both of our sessions without anyone asking him to so he could capture all of the special moments of our most special day. Honestly, now we could not have imagined our wedding without Michael in it. He brought an incredibly positive and fun energy to our day that was brought out the best in us and our guests. I would highly, highly recommend Michael to anyone looking to have photographs taken for any occasion because not only do you get incredibly high quality images, you also get a great friend in the process. My wife and I can’t wait to shoot with Michael again in the future!

My husband Bobby and I have worked in the wedding industry for years now -- we are both professional musicians, and I am also a professional florist. Between the two of us, we've probably worked 250 weddings. We've seen it all -- the good, the bad, the ugly, and everything in between. We hired Mike Orzell for our own wedding (8/9/19) and he is by far the best photographer that we've ever worked with. Mike was amazing from start to finish. We first booked him because we liked the work featured on his website (especially all the candid shots) and he seemed like a really nice guy, which he absolutely is. He went out of his way to learn as much as possible about us as a couple and what we were looking for in capturing the event. The day of the wedding, Mike brought a joyful energy to his work and made everyone feel comfortable. Through the family portraits he kept everyone in our families organized (and we both have big families!) and he kept the mood light. We couldn't have been happier with the way the photos turned out. He was really able to capture the JOY of the day through the emotions on everyone's faces. His action shots of the ceremony and our first dance were amazing, and his candids were spectacular. Everyone looks good in all of them. We are so happy to be able to look back on our Big Day through his photos forever! Thank you Mike!!
We first met Michael at a wedding expo that we wandered into and soon decided that his photography style fit with our personalities. Like so many others, our wedding plans were thrown off due to COVID. We eventually settled on a small rooftop ceremony and Michael was more than willing to be flexible and accommodate our last-minute plans. He arrived dressed professionally, blended into the ceremony flawlessly, and was even able to work around guests trying to take their own pictures. There was a great mix of candid and crafted shots in the gallery that captured the intimacy of the event. If you're looking for a wedding photographer, look no further.

We cannot say enough good things about working with our photographer, Mike. His work is truly stunning. Mike really cares about his work, and he also truly cares about the couples he works with. Bonus, he’s also a lot of fun, and you spend a lot of time with your photographer on your wedding day. He was reachable and responsive from our very first inquiry to any questions we had even after our big day. Some of my questions planned down to very small details, and Mike was always extremely helpful. We elected to have a second photographer as well, and Mike brought along Nick, who was also a pleasure to work with. When you’re wedding planning, everyone tells you how quickly the day goes by and to really enjoy each moment. Thanks to Mike’s creative and thoughtful eye, we will be able to look back on all those special moments whenever we want and we are so thankful for that.
