Soms moet je slim zijn, soms vingervlug, maar er is altijd maar één manier om te ontsnappen: samen. Bij Prison Island kun je met grote groepen (70 personen) terecht en samen de codes kraken. Ultieme team play. Prison Island komt uit Zweden, en heeft inmiddels meer dan 20 succesvolle vestigingen in Europa. Met name de zakelijke markt die voortdurend op zoek is naar vernieuwende, actieve bedrijfsuitjes weten de weg naar Prison Island te vinden.

Prison Island is not so much an island, but more so a puzzle dungeon. There are a few corridors with different 'cells'. Each cell has its own puzzle that you ought to solve. There are many different puzzles and each has its own unique way of solving it. Some involving climbing and physical exercise while others are focused on teamwork or critical thinking skills. You get to play either an hour, 1.5 hours or 2 hours. It's very reasonably priced. The only caveat is that there is no explanation in the rooms and for some of the rooms it's very difficult to understand what you ought to do.

It's a nice place to go if you want to play some games with the family. Not really an escape room,, it's more like 20 different rooms with small puzzles and physical games. Some rooms were a little bit too narrow for adults, so if you're really tall you should watch out. Fun experience but nothing truly spectacular, expected more for the prize. If you're interested in a real escape room, this isn't the place to go.
