Stayed upstairs at the inn for Christmas week. Such a cozy and clean place. Great location. Food is awesome. Needless to stay we ate dinner downstairs our entire stay except Monday because they close on Mondays. Barb was great and her martinis are delicious. Try the stuffed mushrooms and salmon! Also, my husband had the ribs and highly recommends them. Everything was great. Can’t wait to revisit!

The food was great, freshly prepared. However we specifically chose this place as we heard the Clams Casino was excellent and when we arrived we were told they didn't have any and hadn't had any for six months. Not sure why they still advertise this... Another issue was using my debit card and still being charged the surcharge as though it was a credit card. I brought this to the attention of the waitress and she balked at wanting to remove the charge even though the card was clearly labeled debit and their policies clearly said the surcharge only applied to credit cards So just be sure the place has an item if you really want it and check your bill for any hidden charges.

From the crispy bread to the salad to the fall off the bone BBQ ribs, it was heaven. Drinks were slightly expensive but worth it. Didn’t make a reservation (didn’t know I should) but was seated right away. Highly recommend:) Only recommendation would be to hire a second person to help with the bar or tables. The one lady doing it all seemed a little stressed and over worked.
Best clam chowder hands down. Fresh and plentiful clams. Very creamy too! Fast. Friendly. Hopefully this scamdemic is over soon so we can enjoy it more fully reservation s are required.
Wonderful, cozy place to enjoy a meal. We enjoyed everything we had. The ribeye was phenomenal.
A couple years ago my sister's and I took a trip to Newport. What a wonderful trip. We wanted seafood and found Rhea's Inn and Restaurant. Let me tell ya we had lobster tail and it was wonderful along with the rest of the dinner. The staff were great and the place was very nice. Sorry it took me so long to do a review. I am sitting here at home and cant travel much anymore. I am watching Dave In the Kitchen and they are selling Maine Lobster and it reminded of Rhea's because this was the best lobster dinner I have ever had. So if you ate visting the area you really need to treat yourself to this place. You will not be disappointed. Only wish I could go there again.
