I've been with Zions for 14 years and quite satisfied. They're always friendly and helpful, albeit a bit slow (hence my 4 stars – but I don't blame branch employees for that; such is the way of corporate America, making one person do the job of two or three.) *More than once when I have been traveling, they have temporarily locked my card as a safety measure and then called me to verify it was me making the purchases far from home – I love that they do this! I was once hacked for close to 600 and they got me my money back quite quickly.

I have been a loyal Zions Bank customer for over 20 years. I tell all of my friends to bank at Zions! I also believe in 2nd chances. Well, this location has had 5 or 6 chances and every single one of them has been an awful experience. Today I went in because they lost my paperwork. I waited 15 minutes to be helped because only one teller was on staff. Finally another clocked in and was helping me. The manager stopped him after 10 more minutes and said it was her job and rudely told me to go sit down. Soon the bank was empty and I was the only one left. 15 minutes later, she told me to come in, only to be told that now I have to bring more paperwork that they didn't tell me before. So I was there for almost 45 minutes just to be told that I didn't have what they needed, even though they were the ones who lost it in the first place. Sadly, this is not an isolated experience. Every time I've visited this branch the customer service has been awful. I will gladly drive 20 minutes out of my way from now on to go to any other location.

Decided to use the drive thru for the first time after usually coming inside. Took 5x longer to do a simple deposit and change, because they prioritize the inside customers first, and their systems went down.

Worst run Zions Bank I've ever worked with. I've been using this bank for my business for almost four years and it is getting worse. The wait is always ridiculous even when there's no line. There's always some bogus "problem" that ends up NOT being a problem when I go to a different location. Constantly find myself wondering if there's ever more than one person working at the window or behind the desk. Recently, I called regarding a check my business received and was told everything would be fine. Went in today and was told that my OUT OF STATE customer would have to come in to the bank WITH me to approve my deposit. This would have been great to know the day I called. I expressed that I was not pleased and very frustrated, and the teller gave me back my ENTIRE deposit (not just the one check) and walked away. Went to another Zions (which is out of my way seeing that my business is within walking distance of Center Street) and they deposited it on the spot. Good job, Center Street location. Big thumbs down.

The service here is wonderful and personal. The staff is very helpful and always go out of their way. Joel, the branch manager, is excited and knows the customers on a personal level. The tellers are very kind and do all they can to assist. Overall, a wonderful Zion's branch.

Zions bank is a complete outdated banking establishment... 1-Be warned anyone looking for cancelled checks, you must first search through ALL your bank statements. Write down the check number then go into the bank and give those numbers to an account manager, then wait up to 3 business days to get copies of the cancelled checks AND be charged on per check that you have them pull. Even on a business account that has a 2 monthly paper fee with tens of thousands of dollars passing that account everyday! 2- Be warned anyone who has had an account that has had fraudulent charges on it. You will not be credited that money back into account even AFTER you sign an affidavit in person and they have validated it was fraud... yes you guessed 3-5 business days till you can get that money in your account. And if you have any direct withdrawal i.e. Car payments coming out you MUST call your branch manager and beg him to cover it BEFORE 10 am the next day. * If your on vacation out of Utah or even out of the country GOOD LUCK!! 3- Be warned anyone/secretaries trying to make a definitive time for a business owner to stop by in person and pick statements or canceled checks on an account. Marta specifically at Midvale branch will put you on hold, and then tell another account manager that "She hung up on you because your name is not on the account "... *** I was a customer for 17 years (3 accounts) **My husband 2 accounts for 8 years Do they KNOW who keeps them in business? If Zions has any customer service whatsoever, I would be happy to explain in greater detail. Please note I will cut and paste this review to any and all other social media sources I can. To protect other consumers from this banking institution.
