IMPORTANT!! there is a room that tells the story of a man from the village who was hidden for 30 years inside of a house due to the dictatorship persecution. So called "topo de mijas", also you can watch a movie "la trinchera infinita" which is based in this and other similar stories. You can identify it because it's a room without windows and instead of a door it has a wardrobe door. Really worth it. It only cost 1 Euro but it's a beautiful house with a typical patio, rooms with traditional tools to do olive oil, wine and other products.

Travel in time and see yourself how life had been for locals not so long ago. Beautiful collection of well preserved pieces. Especially the ceramic work is outstanding. Charmingly humerus recreation applied. Well worth a visit. Less crowded then other places in town.
Interestingclittke place with lots of local history. Worth a visit but walk as there is no parking outside.
A little gem that's bigger on the inside. Lots of artefacts from country living in times gone by, showing rooms in a typical house, with models of family life painstakingly made by a lady called Carmen. Two of her highlight models were of her own wedding, and a bullfight in reverse, with the audience being bulls, and a man in the bullring begging forgiveness from a bull. There's also a exhibition room, currently housing a gallery of paintings by a local artist. Only 1 euro to enter.

Una pequeña joya en este precioso pueblo malagueño. Una visita deliciosa. Y prácticamente gratis. Muy recomendable.
Jolie maison avec des miniatures créées par une artiste qui montrent la vie d'avant à Mijas Pueblo. La demeure est magnifique et regorgent de vieux objets qui vous replongent au début du siècle dernier. A faire, pour un euro, vous ne le regretterez pas.
