Richard Duffus, Associate Director at Miles Commercial, was the managing agent of a residential building in Barkston Gardens comprising bedsits and self-contained flats, where I was a tenant. Shortly before Christmas 2017, all 3 showers in the building used by bedsit occupants were defective (out of order) for about 2 weeks. Richard was made aware of this issue from the outset, and was constantly reminded of it. He was also made aware of a missing toilet seat in one of the shared toilets about 6 weeks prior to when it was finally replaced. In June 2018, several long slabs of Rockwool insulation suddenly appeared on one of the landings in the building - they were only there for 5 days, because the Council was contacted about them without any delay (do a search for the health hazards of Rockwool). These are just some examples of Richard Duffus's property management skills.
