The care itself is what you would expect from a GP surgery. However the surgery lacks a decent number of front of house/phone staff. The phone lines open at 8am, I have called at 8:08am and was in hold for 50 minutes. This has happened on numerous occasions. If you call beyond 8:04am then be prepared to be on hold for a very long time and of course there will be no appointments. I don't think hiring an extra person or two to handle the high call load during the rush hour would be a stretch. But however this issue is resolved, a solution would be great.

Took both my elderly parents for flu jab appointment today. Lovely Lady in the car park arranged for a doctor to come out to the car to do it for them. This took the worry off myself as trying to get both my parents out of the car isn’t quite so easy. Thank-you so much to all at mill road surgery.

This place runs on batteries that are empty. Look at your patients as a whole human not just what presents to you that day. Put yourself in their shoes, read their whole story, unfortunately empathy cannot be gained and you will never have it. This surgery has no continuity of care.
