Black Sands Beach Trail
N/A
Small parking lot on a one way street with shared road with cyclists. Great beach at the bottom of trail with wonderful black lush sand, views, and ocean waves. There's some people fishing and can def find space to sit until the high tides make their way up in the afternoon. Cons: - no dogs allowed per sign - hike up and down, be careful with the steps by entrance of beach and some parts with a slope. Lots of stairs back up! - parking lot is small (8 spots) at upper fisherman's trail parking lot, with some spots along the road across. Watch out for cyclists coming down the one way road. They have 1 vault toliet and trash cans in the parking lot Pros: -More chill and away from the other busy beaches -Less wind -Lots of space to find a spot to relax

Beautiful view with a trail out to the black sands beach. Do note that there is an 18% grade downhill to get your car down here, so plan accordingly. The road is one-way and makes a loop around, so you will not be going back the way you came, which is probably for the best.
Quiet spot outside of the City. Easy to get to and most people don't make the the time to check it out so you'll likely have it to yourself! The parking is free and the trail down to the beach is well taken care of.
It is a parking lot with 8 spaces and campground amenities.
It's a 10 minutes' hike down to the Black Sand Beach. Nice hike!
Quiet and beautiful.
