This place is great because you don’t only learn how to play guitar but you also learn so much about music and it really opens you up to liking other styles of music and appreciating them more.

My daughter is a typical 9 year old. She is busy day and night, but her activities feel like things to keep her busy, not things she truly loves. About a year ago, she asked to take ukulele lessons, which I thought was going to be another passing fancy. I didn’t know anything about music or where to go for lessons. By luck, a friend recommended Scott at Millennium Music. From day one, she was hooked. Scott is an amazing, engaging teacher. But more than that, he has opened her eyes to new genres of music and other instruments. He adapts naturally to what she is capable of on any given day and every lesson is varied and fun. I am amazed at how well she can play in a short year. She is learning the guitar now too. She participated in the Holiday recital, in spite of her stage fright. But the best part for me, as a parent, is that she has found her “thing.” I’m sure she will continue with Scott for many, many years.
I have known Scott, the director at Millennia Music for more the 20 years. I have taken guitar lessons and he even helped me record my original music and produce a CD. He is an excellent teacher who can develop both beginners and accomplished musicians. Millennia Music also offers piano and vocal lessons. I have been taking vocal training from Halie now for over two months and love it. She is amazing. I highly recommend Millennia Music for people of any age who want to learn to play and sing from instructors who have a true passion for music.
I have taken guitar lessons from Scott for almost 15 years. Scott is a great player/teacher. He is very patient and can play anything. His studio is very clean, fresh and professional. The vocal and piano teachers are awesome as well. If you like to play the guitar and want to get better, this is the place to be!
I have known Scott as a music teacher for many years, first, in his capacity teaching my children and second, in recent years teaching me as an over the hill adult. Scott is warm and personable, accommodating, patient, knowledgeable and reasonable. He has access to unlimited resources and can break down any song you bring to him and teach it according to your skill set. Scott possesses a great talent for teaching children of all ages, and all competencies in a fun, professional manner. His team of professionals are excellent vocal, piano, and guitar teachers that not only strive to improve your ability and talent but nurture a lifelong love and appreciation for music. I would highly recommend him and any of his staff at his safe, convenient Spring Branch location.
My son is currently taking piano lessons with Eric. He started in August at age 7. Eric is very patient with him & makes it fun for him while learning. He played his first Christmas recital this past December after only taking lessons for a little over 3 months. That says a lot for a child who hasn’t had any prior lessons. I highly recommend Eric.
Scott has taught our 9 year old daughter guitar for over two years now. Progress is amazing. He is a great teacher and develops her interest in music.
Great place to have your kid learn and love music! Been coming here for year now! Definitely recommend this place for anyone who wants to learn to the play piano!
