A well-tended rec area, Freedom Memorial park offers three pavilions -- one with cooking facilities, one with a sink and other amenities, and one solely with picnic tables. They offer playgrounds for all ages, one of which has a long, high slide that's fun for young and old alike. Take a walk along a picturesque pathway that winds through full shade and full sun. Stop at the gazebo along the way. At Freedom Memorial you'll also find basketball courts and a skatepark. Located next to John Here's family market, if you forget food or drink, they have you covered. Stop in for an hour or the day, with the family or on your own. You won't regret it.

A very nice and clean park. A comfortable walking trail. They have 3 different pavilions to use and the bathrooms were clean. Easy to navigate if in a wheel chair.
