I LOVED Lox Stock & Deli as a kid growing up in East Brunswick, and now that I’ve moved to Los Angeles, I still love grabbing a bite to eat there when I am visiting my father (who still lives in EB.) What’s more... their customer service is INCREDIBLE... I have ordered gift certificates and food for my dad from there as it’s still his favorite place for high quality & yummy-tasting kosher food, and every time I call to place an order, they are consistently courteous. (I just ordered food for Passover too... and my father said it was delish!) If you haven’t tried Lox Stock & Deli yet, you need to!!!

Lock's stock and Deli is an excellent traditional Jewish deli. Everything is home made on premises and very delicious highly recommend !!
Super underrated! We got tongue, pastrami, chopped liver, and sides. All delicious and big servings, you can easily get lunch and dinner out of one meal. Much more reasonably priced than Harold’s for same or better quality!
Update: 12//9/20: Took offer of replacement sandwich. Must say Toni/ manger did go out of her way to try to fix things and make me happy. Gave me a replacement sandwich, which was much better than my original. She threw in some goodies and really put. forth great customer service. Will I go back???????? Original writing: Pastrami is terrible. Boars head from Shoprite is a better choice. Used to be so good. Can not understand how they serve you fatty chewy meat and charge 15 for a sandwich and 30 per pound. They will never see me again. Response from the owner 6 days ago Edward, I am sorry that we fell short of your expectations. I would welcome you back for a replacement sandwich and the opportunity to restore your faith in Lox, Stock and Deli. Won't you give us another try?
This place is full of fresh baked food and the atmosphere here is really great. I ordered Meatloaf balls and that fantastic and i loved it. surely i'll visit again.
Good as it always is. Selections are vast as plentiful. Their butcher area is really good. Great selection.
I called today to inquire about a shiva call basket/platter and whoever answered the phone said “the menu is online” so I said ok and then they proceeded to tell me “we aren’t gonna be able to do it until after Monday because of the holiday” and I said “well the person who just passed away just died literally 5 minutes ago so I don’t know when I’ll need it for, it might have to be for Tuesday morning” then the rude employee exclaimed “UGH! We’re just opening Tuesday from being closed for the holiday!” I understand it’s a holiday and you’re extremely busy but I’ve never ordered from you before and I’m not jewish so I would need help with what to order for a shiva call and clearly they didn’t seem interested in helping me. Will never order from them. Ever.
Spoke to Debby 1 minute ago. Straight forward nasty attitude, and and asked for someone who sits SHIVA, and if they deliver to Matawan, she replied, not for 2 sandwiches. WOW. No customer service skills. minimum order is 150 with 30 charge for delivery. GO ELSEWHERE!!!!! There a plenty kosher, compassionate, delis out there. NO GO WOTH LOX STOCK DELI - DEBBY IS THE WORSE\u003e
