Don't deserve 1 star, delivered me 3 worktops, 4 upstands all damaged, abroad call centre sorted out replacements 2 week later, dhl now chasing for collection of returns, 6 worktops and 8 upstands!, so homebase sort out the damage replacements, then want the replacements back too. cant get anyone in the uk call centre to phone back, 20 emails I've sent. currently sat with the 3 metre long damaged items in my house for 3 months!!. abroad call centre say uk call centre will phone in 48 hours, JOKE OF A COMPANY

Definetly give this top rating. Bought a kitchen at colchester stanway Homebase. Kitchen designer Darren Bishop. Was amazing. So genuine, efficient not pushy but accomodating to all our needs. Excellent job. Well done Homebase especially the designer. Julie lee

I ordered a sofa that arrived damaged on the 5th of November. I was told things would be sorted within a total of 7 days but as it stands, nothing has been sorted, no replacement issued, no repair issued, no discount, no compensation. everything is done over email so very slow and tedious process rather than on the phone and when you do speak on the phone, it is with a shared service centre in Asia where the employees have very power/say/control of what happens. Appalling service, I would give less than 1 star if it was possible.

Same as everyone else. discussing service with no communication and the customer service is a joke when you do get thought to someone. The only way I got a reply was to look up the CEO’s email address then I got a reply. Just a tip for anyone else struggling. But then be prepared to deal with the dreadful customer service anyway. I was messed about with my order for months and they offered me a 5 compensation refund. After hours on the phone and countless emails to them. I just laughed. I would think that Homebase will go into administration after all this anyway because I certainly wouldn’t shop with them again that’s for sure. In these time customer service is key so how can you get this so wrong is beyond me.

What an absolute shambles Homebase is. After waiting for several weeks I decided to cancel my online order using their own template as suggested on their website, but two weeks later the goods arrived! I have sent several emails to them and had no contact at all. I will definitely NOT be using these clowns again and will be going to my local store in person for a refund when they re-open.
