We offer creative workshops, a gallery space and artists’ studios in Milton Keynes, promoting participation, exploration and learning through courses, exhibitions and events. Through innovative programming and partnerships, Milton Keynes Arts Centre aims to nurture creative talent and encourage a social, cultural and economic exchange of creativity. Milton Keynes Arts Centre main site is located two miles from central Milton Keynes, set within the impressive grounds of Great Linford Manor beside the Grand Union Canal. It includes a gallery, set in a 17th-century barn, studio space for six creative practitioners housed in historic almshouses, a school house, creative work spaces located within two gate houses and specialist workshop facilities including ceramics, silversmithing and woodwork. Milton Keynes Arts Centre offers a programme of both One Day and Ten Week courses for creative of all ages and abilities. Professional artists and crafts people lead the courses within our specialist and fully equipped studios. Courses are available for all abilities from introduction to experienced across a variety of media including; book binding, calligraphy, ceramics, drawing, fused glass, iPad drawing, jewellery, life drawing painting, photography, sewing, watercolour. Each course provides an environment in which to learn a totally new skill or develop and continue a particular practice.
