My further comment,...the realtor DID take advantage of us as far as signing the AIRPORT CLAUSE!! We retired here from Key West. Simply drove up here with a one week leave, to check schools for kids, and BUY A HOME if possible. We wanted a NEW home after 20 years with military places not always having housing available, so we rented. We lived at various duty stations .... London, Rhode Island/Antartica (winter over-reverse seasons), W. Virginia, Norfolk, Morocco, Sardinia, and Key West. A randomly chosen realtor/agent sold us this house on a week-end when the helicopters WERE NOT FLYING. We did notice the large field and when asking, she said that the \field\ was an \OLD\ Navy Training Field. We accepted that and returned to K.W. after signing lots of paperwork for the home sale. The field IS an OLD NAVY TRAINING FIELD., but we were NOT AWARE OF IT STILL BEING ACTIVE !!! Thus, we had to sign the release paperwork. And now, 37 years later, we still regret living in constant helicopter NOISE !!! I would bet, that a vet could detect a HEARING LOSS in our 3 cats too !!! One slightly good news factor has appeared in the newspaper. Seems the training will SHIFT to an enlarged field in EAST MILTON...guess the POPULATION DENSITY was FINALLY REALIZED !! Anita and Albert G. P.S. It has been rumored that the \choppers\ will make a routine turn into the housing areas of known backyard swimming pools. With, 'hopefully' NAKED LADIES tanning !! Yes, I do believe that !! They will even \dive bomb\ ME when I am in my backyard garden. \There's that old grey-haired lady in her housecoat picking flowers !\ gggrrrrrrr Okay, I'm done...

I don’t know where y’all are getting your info from but my uncle knows some people who fly those little helicopters and he says that they’re doing tours of the Riviera Naturist Resort. The thing that gets me is that after living next to the nolf since I was a kid, I can’t figure out why they fly them all out every morning just to pull them back on trailers every evening??? Just doesn’t seem like a good way to run a business.

Great place, their number one product is the blanket of freedom we all sleep under at night. Anita made a mistake, she should have given a one star review to the realtor she is upset with and maybe to her own due diligence when she signed the airport clause. As far as how NOLF Pace performs as a NOLF? 5/5!

To be quite honest, if living near an airport is so bad, why stay for 35 years? If you can afford to live in Pace (both financially as well as socially) you would be more than comfortable in Jay where the property is cheaper and the banjos are not anywhere near as loud as Freedom Choppers. The beauty of this solution is that the blanket of freedom extends across the entire nation. You do not need to live near the airport to enjoy the freedoms offered. I lived directly under the flight path in Pace/Milton for years. Those helicopters over flew my house when I was resting to fly them the next day. This OLF is wonderful, the men and women who fly them are wonderful, and their tax dollars and expenditures in this county are the only thing allowing the current level of county spending. You want the helicopters to leave? Look at any county that had steel mills or lumber yards/saw mills disappear, that is what will happen to Milton/Pace when the Navy leaves.

My only overtourque. But it was my fault and not the field's. Nice place.

The county tax records show that anita gerardi lives next to Spencer Field. I guess she never learned how to read a map during her alleged 25 years in the Navy or to take personal responsibility instead of blaming other people for her mistakes. Ooh-rah! You go, girl!
