In the “special request” box for my hotel reservation I asked for Harry Styles pictures to be left in my room. Totally forgot that I requested that. (Don’t ask me WHY I requested that, I don’t know why other than Harry is a wonderfully beautiful young man) and when we showed up.... SURPRISE! Huge pictures of Harry Styles CUT IN THE SHAPE OF A HEART on our bed!!! I laughed so hard. This places rocks. Beyond that wonderful above and beyond surprise, this place was at a great downtown location for exploring Milwaukee, near tons of cute buildings and shops. Very clean and cool looking rooms and the staff was so kind. Stay here!!!

Great hotel. Very relaxing. Room is very comfortable. Views right off the bridge. With room service and a pool. Couldn't ask for anything more. Completely happy!!!
Booked 1 queen room and was told upon arrival we had been switched to 2 kings. I had hoped on staying with the people I was with instead of in a separate room, and some notice beforehand would have been nice. No parking available, and had to reserve the pool. Convenient hotel to stay at but would not return.
Aloft Milwaukee is in a great location and Marriott staff is always courteous. On arrival I like how inviting the lounge was. There was plenty of seating and a pool table to make you feel welcome to stick around if you had spare time. Our room was clean and spacious with a large TV. I didn’t get a chance to use the pool or gym but I did check them out. The pool looks right out onto the river and the gym was nice enough for a quick workout. The only drawback of the stay was the noise level from the outside. Our room was on Old World Third St (Amazing view of Fiserv Forum) but there were cars literally parked outside all night playing music. The music wasn’t muffled either. It was very clear. I’d recommend Aloft for the location and amenities but I’d request an interior room because of outside noise.
Super cool and modern. Clean, but not perfect. Rooms are pretty tiny but the set-up doesn't make it feel that way.
The front desk clerk was incredible and speedy. I would definitely be revisiting in the future......
I wouldn't recommend staying here unless your expectations are low and you come without your kids. Was greeted by one of the staff members while going to the pool (which can only be reserved for 30 min btw) with a "Hi, are you guys staying here?" After entertaining her question with a 'yes' we were given looks of skepticism the rest of the time. I won't make any judgements about her but she seemed to pick and choose who she was friendly with. While the views are gorgeous, the age and lack of care in the hotel room was pretty apparent and had quite a few cosmetic issues. Lastly, there is a tiny parking lot which, maybe, hold 6-7 cars and I think a couple of those spaces are for hybrids only. They charge 20 for valet services if there's no where to park OR you can just park for free on MLK street...*hint *hint.
First couple nights were great. The third night was met by a rather rude security guard at the hotel, Dave. We received a noise complaint saturday night around 9:30 PM which was warranted. We agreed to turn off the music entirely. About 30 minutes later we hear a knock on our door from Dave who is now harassing us for cracking the door while my cousin went to go get Ice. We were having a low voiced conversation and the second knock was not warranted. We now felt like our room was being camped by this individual and no longer felt welcomed or that we would enjoy the rest of our week in peace. We ended up cutting our visit short and relocated to another hotel at Midnight. Hotel desk staff was extremely pleasant and kind to our group. We had no issues with any guests at the hotel or any other staff. Security guard simply refused to let us enjoy the stay. Unfortunately I used Amex points on the stay and wont be able to refund the extra nights. I will likely not be staying at these hotels anymore.
