We had the honor today of helping out. The scheduled parade rides did not show up so we offered our trucks to help out. The Miss AMVET White Clover Princess was transported in style.

I am a 60% disabled Vet and recently called the AMVET office in Milwaukee to have a question or two answered regarding my compensation through the VA and before I could even ask the questions, the man on the other end of the phone acted as though I was bothering him. Seriously? Is that what AMVET is all about? I guess I know now not to bother with AMVET. It's a shame when vets are being disrespected in this country today but even more so when they are disrespected by fellow vets. Shame on you AMVET!
