Caution: Bed bugs! My boyfriend and I stayed in room 413 at the Courtyard by Marriot MKE Airport (4620 S Fifth Street) on Saturday, 9/26, and ended up discovering bed bugs upon waking up in the morning. My boyfriend is an airline pilot who travels for work, and neither of us have ever seen anything even remotely this disgusting or repulsive in a hotel room. We were bitten many times, and had blood stains all over our bed to prove this. We discovered over a dozen bugs of different shapes and sizes when we searched the bed in the morning. I think I may have even seen eggs. After doing some research, the large size of the bugs seems to indicate that they have been active for a while. We had inspected the bed the night before and didn’t find anything at all. While we did appreciate the hotel staff moving us to a different room immediately, unfortunately this issue still lingers. Our biggest concern moving forward is the possibility that some of the bugs may have made it into our clothing or our suitcases, which means we could potentially bring them into our home, or even carry them with us into the next hotel. Through social media and his company, we have had more people reach out saying that they ALSO found bed bugs in different rooms around the same time. Needless to say, the issue is not isolated to just one room, but rather the entire hotel, and is not being fixed.

Great place for stay and park. Great shuttle service to and from airport. Parked cars for one week during a whole week of below zero winter weather. When we retured the shuttle driver had brushed all the snow off our cars and shoveled around our cars. And he did not want to accept a tip!Room was spacious and clean. What I always find at a Mariott.
My trip was due to the loss of my father and Liz, Sarah, Tony and all the employees I met there treated me like family, the hotel was very clean and safe. Thanks to Liz B with her charisma she made my difficult days feel like God sent me an angel to take care of me. Many thanks to everyone at the hotel. Recommended 100% Love Elba Giron
Absolutely charming for the price.. cozy, "breezy" clean, tasteful decor. Outdoor 24 hour fire pit was an awesome unexpected nicety.
My family and I got stranded in Minneapolis en route to Milwaukee. I had to cancel a reservation last minute, and they didn't charge me a fee. On the way out of town, we stayed here before our flight out of Milwaukee. Fantastic location and great service at the front desk.

First, a big thank you and shout out to Liz who helped me during my stay. I called to see if I could check in early, and she helped me out no problem, and also arranged a Lyft to pick me up from the airport, as the shuttle was not running at the time. She asked which floor I would like to be on upon check in, and even helped me arrange a time to use the fitness facility - during covid, guests are able to book the fitness center for individual time slots, cleaned between each use! Liz was so welcoming, also was there the next morning to help pour coffee for the limited breakfast station. Room was spacious, quiet, clean, and very comfortable. Got a great price for the room, and overall a wonderful stay.
Clean, spacious, quiet and close to MKE. The courtyard firepit was relaxing and we enjoyed sitting around talking to other guest. Thank you Courtyard we will be back.
