Outstanding Steak Dinner We had a great dining experience last evening at the Dream Dance Steakhouse. Starting with cocktails, we thought they were priced as high as you would find in New York City or Las Vegas. Not used to that in Milwaukee. For an appetizer we shared the shrimp cocktail and a bowl of French Onion soup. Five shrimp for 12 is on the stiff side, but the shrimp were good sized. The French Onion soup was a blend of five types of onions and was on the sweet side, but enjoyable. The highlight of the meal was sharing a huge Porterhouse steak. It was grilled to perfection at Medium and has a charred and crispy texture, but when you cut it, the true flavors really came out. We've been to top-shelf steakhouses all over the country and proclaimed this to be one of the best we have had. The atmosphere in the room was on the dark side and much smaller than we anticipated. I would call it intimate, except that the clientele took the edge off the fine dining experience. Most of the gentlemen had backwards baseball hats on throughout dinner and logo T-shirts. Where can you go anymore where people show some class? Our waitress, Emily, was personable, efficient, well-trained in fine dining service. Overall, we enjoyed our dinner and will return soon.

The staff is super friendly and helpful, the food is to die for (literally) to the point where you want a 2nd serving but know you can't fit it in your stomach, the atmosphere is fancy but not intimidating, and prices are pretty good for being so high end. 10 stars out of 5 for sure!

Both had the sirloin steak sandwiches and they were cooked perfect and delicious! Service was wonderful! We never wanted for anything. French onion soup was a little too sweet for my liking.

Had dinner last night, not the same food. New chef, needs to make adjustments or be replaced. I had lobster for 45.00, full lobster, very presentable. Watery, I asked for it to be broiled, was not, very chewy.. Our waiter was Juan, there were 4 of us, he was excellent, this used to be my favorite restaurant, not any more. The chef before was better. Also, I paid 79.00 at Kurt's steakhouse, it was fantastic. It is all about the chef. Steak is good, but missed the curry dinner rolls, this bread, not warm, and chewy. Salad was not the same, fair. Sorry, but you used to be outstanding. ntab

Always loved Dream Dance but went post-remodel, steak and lobster were good but the sides left a lot to be desired. Also no table cloths, changed the bread - no lavash! or the delicious shortbread cookies either. Missing the extra atmosphere, high end feel. Even the menu was plastic! Hopefully they will make some adjustments and return to their former great food.

Service, food, wine...too notch! This is fine dining to the T. Team service, from bussers to managers, everyone is on point. Not a beat skipped. Steaks were perfectly cooked. Food did not lack a single bit of flavor. Everything was impeccable and well worth the time and money. There 3 course meal is an incredible deal. Don't pass this place up, it should be ranked up there with Milwaukee's finest.
