Smoke machine broke down so I have to take my vehicle to another shop to finish what they started to get my check engine light off and still charged me full price on my diagnostics which is higher than other shops in the area I will not return not even for registration and sticker

Brought my car in on a Tuesday and after a cursory check of my belts and pulleys was told that they could fix the issue but could not get me in that day and to bring it back first thing the following day. I brought the car in bright and early and felt confident they could get my issue resolved. Received a call a few hours later stating they couldn’t in fact fix the issue because they lacked some specialty tools and would need to order parts and was told my car would need to be take elsewhere. Just frustrated that was told one thing one day and something else the next and was charged for them not being able to fix anything after being told they could.

They tried to tax me 2,400 for a 700 job so I took my vehicle to another mechanic. These people are crooks plain and simple. And over the phone they quoted me 100 for a deposit for a tow but once I got there they asked for a 200 deposit in which I paid. I stated to second guess my decision to work with them almost immediately. After they gave me an estimate I started to search parts pricing and other mechanics in the area. And yes I did ask if I could purchase parts elsewhere to have them install and the answer was no. I never purchased my own parts. I only inquired. However, I found another shop that would do the exact job that they were trying to up charge me for. And that place gave me a rough estimate of 800. I went back and told the owner that I'd be taking my vehicle elsewhere and I'd have it towed right away. So I basically paid them 200 just for a tow because I never got back my deposit. And the receipt they gave me had a few miscellaneous charges that equaled out to 200.19. And the other tow company only charged me 65 to have it taken a few blocks away from the exact location that Lau's picked it up from. And then he called me twice to reduce the price by 200 each call because he knew he tried to swindle me. And then called me to complain about this review I gave. Please stay away from this place and do your research before you take your vehicles anywhere.

They provide emissions testing along with providing detailed information when taken in for an estimate. Their rates are by the lowest with my AAA card there's always a discount on the total. You are on Talented, Highly Knowledgeable and always up front with the estimates.
