A relative just asked me about where to find a good mattress. Here is my response: On a friend's recommendation we bought a custom made firm support king mattress from the old Milwaukee Mattress factory in Milwaukee when we got married. It cost a lot, 1200 back then in 1983 and it remains as perfectly firm as the day we bought it. The company promised a lifetime guarantee. Luckily all they promised in performance has proven true. 36 enjoyable years later there are no sags or weak spots, equally good body support, firm but not stiff. For my back, if it is too soft or sags, I wake up with with a sore back. For Lynn if it is too hard or stiff she can't get to sleep. Just to soften the top we added a 3 inch foam and feather soft topping that makes it truly comfortable. Doesn't make any difference how much it cost. Your body spends a third of your life on that mattress, it is worth it to get good quality.

Bought a high end buffet there several months ago and they agreed to 1. Store it until we were ready to move to our new home (3 months) and 2. Wrap it up robustly so we could safely transport it to a different state. Really happy with the experience and was impressed with how they wrapped the piece for transport. I would recommend.
