Just what you would expect from one of Milwaukee’s very best restaurants, curbside pickup that is both gracious and elegant! Such a fun twist to our Saturday night, gourmet “burgers” for four - truly delicious! The squash soup... make sure to order enough for the next day! The charcuterie board, the Gouda cheese is more than crave-able. And the dessert, that wonderful dessert! Thank you for service that is always above and beyond, in the dining room and out on the curb, along with a meal that is an experience even when served at home. Bob, the kids and I enjoyed a memorable evening thanks to all at Sanford!

Oh, my. We ordered here for our anniversary and all I have to say is this is my new favorite restaurant! Since they are dealing with covid responsibly, we felt safest ordering here. They served us curbside and were so kind and sweet!! You can tell they care for their customers and THAT alone makes me want to come here for every occasion! They even wrote a personalized letter to go with out carry out. I've never had that before and it was so nice, especially during this pandemic. We sampled a large portion of their menu and couldn't finish it - but that's not to say we didn't try! Lol! Everything was bursting with flavor. Since their menu changes, Im not sure if you'll be able to try it, but the Warm Aged Cheddar Boereg was my favorite appetizer! It was packed with buttery flavor and paired perfectly with the apricot reduction. Even their quesadillas were a flavor bomb. But the thing that got me was the Peach Turnovers with Pork Caramel. I literally exclaimed \Oh my goodness!\ While eating it because the flavors just came out one by one. Who can even make something like that? The entire team here should be extremely proud of the delight they provide their guests with. I will be back! Thank you so much for the beautiful meal and wonderful experience. You truly are the best restaurant in Milwaukee!

I've cited the entire menu because, I think, it is not only impressive but the various, subtle palate teasing tastes were unequaled in most of my recent dining experiences. Kudos to the chefs and staff of Sanfords. If in town, please support them as best you can. This restaurant is a treasure Milwaukee cannot afford to loose during these trying times.

We have been Sanford patrons for several years now and we can't say enough about the cuisine, staff, and atmosphere! Due to COVID 19 we decided to try the carry out dinner for two this evening (Swordfish / Couscous & Chicory with desert of a dark chocolate tart / coffee cream). It was phenomenal, true to Sanford's reputation! We drove an hour to pick up our order and Cassie was a pleasure to talk to while they brought our order out. The re-heat instructions and packaging was perfect! The entree was perfect and tasted just as it would if we had dined at Sanford's. This was an excellent experience so if you are a fan of Sanford's we highly recommend that you get your \fix\ with a carry out dinner! Amazing. absolutely amazing dinner. everything was well paced. everything was amazing. the waitstaff is very professional and knowledgeable. Dining took about 3 hours for the tasting menu. Its a great way to spend the evening as long as you have someone who can keep the conversation going.
