I wanted to cook a Turkey for my boyfriend and I, so we could have a little early Thanksgiving feast. I didn’t plan at all for the Turkey (usually you have to order 48 hours in advance) and had a friend connect me with the store manager, Meredith. She said she wasn’t sure how likely it was to get a Turkey the next morning (about a 12 hour turnaround time) and it was completely warranted and understandable. The next morning Meredith let’s me know she was able to get the Turkey to Sendik’s THAT MORNING! I just want to say to whoever hired Meredith, you made an amazing choice hiring her as a store director! She went above and beyond for this request and you can tell she genuinely cares about the customers and well being of this store. I will always remember making my first Turkey and the immense amount of effort that was put into making this happen. Thank you Meredith and I will continue to be a happy Sendik’s shopper.

So Sendik's used to be one of the better stores but not the one on 16th near Marquette..my 81 year-old mother thought she was buying strawberry jam but it was rasberry because they stocked it in the wrong spot and when I went to return these jars of jam that cost more than 5 per jar they said they can't do returns... All they have to do is throw the merchandise out and refund the money... Their policy makes no sense. So now I will make sure I tell everyone not to shop Sendik's. During this time of crisis they should have more compassion on how tight money is!

Would not let me use expired ID even though I had proof it was still valid due to the effects of Covid on the DMV. Was a daily shopper, never going back. Lady that \took care of me\ was extremely snappy and unkind.

Convenient, good choices, clean store... But you will pay higher costs than if you went to a full service Sendik's They also do not honor their advertised sale pricing.

Much better than a 7/11 or gas station. Great for what it is, but limited selection due to size.
