First time here. First, the burger was fantastic! The patty was very thick, juicy and cooked well (not well done). It was topped with fresh lettuce, tomato, onion, pickle, mayo, mustard, ketchup. The bun was toasted to crunchy perfection. I also ordered a chocolate shake. I couldn't tell if it was real ice-cream. You best be patient - I was the first to order and it took 30 minutes to for it to be ready.

We have heard great things about S'Socorro's while we were in Mina. It seems to be a favorite of all repeat travelers through this highway. When we were there, roughly 7 semi trucks pulled in for their trip. A couple truckers stated they stop everytime traveling through Mina to get their favorite handmade burger. Burgers are handmade and have everything you expect from a real Ma and Pop burger joint. Now since it is handmade it does take a while to get the food when ordered. I believe when we went it was only the owner cooking. A couple regulars said she usually has 2 others helping her. It was well worth the wait and I surely will be back. The burgers were fresh and juicy. The onion rings were some of the best onion rings I have had. The French fries were the skinny Christy kind. I have been told in the summer when she brings out the Ice-cream truckers and travelers will fill the oversized parking lots fully. I guess she is ready for retirement and has listed it for sale. Who ever is the next owner will have a long list of regular customers. I even brought a sticker to put on the window. Can you figure out which one?
A great experience and well worth a stop. Why 4 stars, well they had run out of a lot of stuff but what they had was good. As they say it’s not fast food but good food. We will go back
A true hidden treasure in the desert. Absolutely amazing food! If busy, totally worth the wait hands down. I've ate there a few times now, years apart. Each time the burgers have been delicious. I love that fresh produce is used on each burger.
We ordered 2 Cheese Burgers with french fries and tater tots. Also got a corn dog. Food came out quickly. Liked how you could tell them what all you wanted the burgers. They also cut one of the cheese burgers in half so my wife and son could split it. My wife said she would have wished she did not split it with my our son because it was so good. Will definitely will stop again as on our first trip down to Vegas we did not get a chance to stop.
This is the brightest spot in town. Soccoro makes a mean burger, much better then the average Nevada fare. The fries are, however, average fare. Soccoro herself takes your order. She likes making excellent milkshakes to order. She worried that my coffee malted was too strong. That is not a thing, plus it was perfect. Bonus, the clean bathroom has nice hot water.
May be closed before posted closing time. Don’t expect it to be open for a last chance dinner on the road even an hour before closing. Could be very disappointed, and hungry... and still a hundred miles to next restaurant. Maybe next time I’ll get a burger. Heard they’re good.
Love love love this place! We stop every time we pass through to/from Vegas.... great food and fun find out in the middle of know where (but well worth the wait instead of stopping to eat in the towns before/after it.... hold out to make a stop here! :-) )
