Mini bud Maxi irresponsibility. We visited Budapest for 6 days. Because our hotel was slightly off-center, we decided to buy the medium package offered by the Mini Bud company at its airport office. This includes shuttle service to and from the airport, as well as free use of the sight seeing shuttle and water tour for 3 consecutive days. Two days before departure I sent a reminder email to the company confirming its obligation to transfer us to the airport. They confirmed the transportation. Next day I received 2 sms which shifted from 05:05 to 05:20 and a little later to 05:25 the departure time from our hotel. On the morning of departure we were at loby's from 05:15. At 05:35 pm and after the receptionist's unsuccessful attempt to contact them we called a taxi and we left at 5:45 pm without the mini bus showing up !! Immediately from the airport, I sent them an email describing the above and showing to them their ticket and the taxi's bill. They do not respond unless you bother them, they have NEVER APOLOGIZED!!. They asked me for my IBAN to refund me. 10 days have passed and one more message from me complaint for the delay and nothing happened until now. Mini bud Maxi scam??

Unsatisfactory reception experience. But friendly, calm driver. Still cheaper than taxi.
I FEEL CHEATED AND INSULTED AND COULDNT NOT TO COMMENT ANYTHING AND LET OTHER CUSTOMERS MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE AS ME. We were waiting ONE AND A HALF HOUR at the airport for the bus and the guy at the counter said that there have been an accident and there is only one road to go to the airport and thats why we had to wait (Later we asked some locals and they said that is a lie). We kept seeing taxis coming and going and after more waiting we asked for a refund. We were a few people asking for a refund and because I booked the service online, THEY SAID I HAD TO WRITE AN EMAIL (The people that bought the tickets at the airport they got the refund). MORE THAN ONE MONTH AND A BUNCH OF EMAILS LATER (THEY NEVER RESPOND BACK) AND EVEN A FEW CALLS TO THE BUDAPEST OFFICE THEY STILL DONT DO ANYTHING. I GUESS THEY WANT ME TO FORGET THAT I PAID THEM FOR NOTHING. PS. We took a taxi and it was around to 25 euros to go the center so MINIBUD was not even worth it.
I had a perfect experience with them the staff were very nice and also I had to change the address and the customer service were very nice and helpful.
We were welcomed to Budapest at the counter that is in the arrivals hall.The service was easy to use,talk to the staff and show booking,get a number and told when the minibus would arrive,screen kept us to speed on the next shuttle,drove right up outside terminal,drove us to the Hotel door. Then repeated on the return journey. So simple to use and very reasonably priced.The staff spoke English very well.Just a tip..if you need supplies for your stay there is a large supermarket next door to the counter.
I had a great experience with miniBUD. I bought a round trip ticket from the airport to my hotel. The van got me to my hotel quickly and the best part was I had a very early morning departure and they were on time (3 AM) to pick me up at the hotel and brought me, on time, to the airport. Now be aware, to be efficient they fill up the van with other passengers before heading to the airport. But they factor that in when calculating the time to pick you up so don't worry.
