Very old shiva temple. Min 1000 yrs old. Shiva was worshipped by guru sukracharya. Can be reachable thiruvellavoyal.

Arulmigu Saanthanayagi sametha Arulmigu Thiruvelleeswarar Thirukovil. Built by Parantaka Chola in the early days of Chola dynasty before the time of Rajaraja, this Temple needs more attention on maintenance and not as popular as it deserves. It's vimana looks glorious to have gopura tharisanam.
