I got this class as a Christmas gift from my wife. It was an excellent choice and experience. I learned a lot from my three instructors, Jerrod, Chris, and Mike. For anyone who owns a gun this class is a must so you can become better informed. I'm strongly considering taking other classes with this group. Thank you to Mike for allowing us in his home.

Mike advertises as catering towards those that have never used a firearm before. And he does just that! Our class on 3/16 was a total of 10 people. We talked about safety, stance, and how to hold a gun. It was nice to see I wasn't the only one that didn't know a thing about firearms! We ALL got 1:1 range time. All ammo and the guns were provided. We got to load/reload the gun, shoot, and clear it until we were comfortable with the steps. Then we all head to his house to talk more about situational awareness, being prepared to use deathly force, and all the legal aspects that come with having the power to use deathly force. It is a comfortable setting as the class size is small. It was a bit of a drive from Greensboro, about an hour and a half. It is required to be an 8 hour class, so you are there all day, and you start early. But...it was well worth the drive, my time, and the cost. I gained a lot of knowledge that day, a lot of respect for firearms...and it was a lot of fun learning defensive shooting. He offers other classes that I'm going to probably attend. If you are a breast cancer survivor, he waives all but the ammo and range fees (25).
My husband, daughter, and I took the concealed carry class with Michael. We had a great time and would definitely recommend. Michael makes the class funny and interesting. He has a beautiful training area and makes you very comfortable, even those with little to no experience. Thank you!
The course was great. Mike was a very thorough instructor. He also provided very detailed information on what we need to bring before class. I appreciated his patience and would recommend this course to anyone.
Mike's approach to the 8 hour concealed carry class made it interesting and engaging. I have heard many stories of how tedious such classes can be enduring 8 hours. This was not my experience with Echo Training. Mike encourages questions and open discussion, all while learning the essentials of legal and practical concealed carry for both North and South Carolina. The small class size is ideal. Would recommend to anyone looking to get their certificate.
