Food is not very well presented, but it is tasty. Even though no vegetarian dish was on the daily menu, they did prepare me vegetarian starter and main. Service was good.
Le Grain de Sel was recommended to us and we loved it. Delightful people and the food was fantastic. Great value too. Worth a visit!

Easily the best restaurant in Mirepoix. I've been half a dozen times and always been pleased with the meal. Can recommend the boudin blanc, the local Gasconne beef, and probably everything else. Took my wife there on Valentine's Day, they did a really good many-course menu.
Original dishes that are excellent and affordable.
Although I admit the food was okay -- simple, plain, tasty, inexpensive -- a pair of smokers just outside the door consumed at least ten cigarettes during our meal, and the smoke of every one penetrated the restaurant and made all the indoor guests uncomfortable. We could hear the kitchen's exhaust fan, and that plus the prevailing wind (and the addicted patrons) really spoiled the fun. I wouldn't go back, and I do not think this restaurant is the one of Mirepoix's best; the difference between it and L'autre Jardin is *enormous*.
