The first time I've been compelled to write a review: this unassuming family-run restaurant looks similar to those on Batasia Loop, but is actually a fantastic and rather unique place to eat. Apart from serving traditional vegetarian fare, most of which is vegan, the owners and servers are lovely, warm people and the space is spotless. And the chef, who also worked in a restaurant in Japan for a few years before opening this place, is truly passionate about food, cooking, and traditional forms of preservation. After a short conversation, he showed me all the various vegetables he was pickling and fermenting, so if you're interested in truly local vegetarian food, do ask politely if any of these are available with the lunch thali. I've returned here several times during my stay, and this place truly deserves the cliched label of a hidden gem.

This place got a beautiful ambience. Best place to have breakfast and a cup of tea in the cloud. Owners(chefs) are too much friendly and humble that you will feel like you're in your home and you know them for years. Their food is too much delicious, reasonable and they have a live kitchen. I can say It's a pure mom's kitchen. They are too much clean and they also serve healthy food. One of the best place to hangout with friends and family in Darjeeling. In one word this place is just heavenly! I recommend this place. ️️️
