One of those unique places in Ukraine where You can still meet ordinary Ukrainians. These elderly cow-breeders lead very simple honorable life of survivors. Gradually such villages will be extinct. Nature here is identical to utmost green & wild Chernobyl landscape. Except, unlike Chornobyl, people still do live here. You seek something very old-fashioned, unique and very authentic in amazing forest area: this destination is right for you. Inexpensive private hotels are easily found on the route from Kyiv, via Vyshgorod, Khotyanivka, Dubiechnia, Pirnovo and further village areas, via Desna military base. Otrohy resort is nearest hotel closest to destination. For those seeking sense of life. Rent a car, no other way to go there. Winter time is for spiritually strong.
Amazing nature, lots of mushrooms, but you should be aware of snakes. If you’re looking for virgin nature, you can find here different landscapes, sands and swamps and beautiful light forest with a carpet of green soft moss and it’s endless, in this place you feel very relaxed and comfortable. Grate place to pick up mushrooms! There is also a boat station on the Desna river where you can take motor boat and research the river which is also reach with fish. Unfortunately connection in this areas is almost absent.

Wild nature, one often can observe wild animals like deers, or even elks, if lucky.
Interesting place with a reach natural. I like water and a lot of place there. Recomend for rest with a children and adults.
