The history of Portuguese glass-making is practically covered when visiting this museum. It is located in Ovar which has an amazing array of tiles on buildings, not too far from Porto and accessible by train. Beautiful displays of many different types of historical as well as contemporary glassware whilst explaining the production process as you walk through. Tours are not done with a guide but this allows time to see things at your own pace. There is also a separate workshop where two experienced glassmakers in their 80's (!) cut and make beautiful pieces for purchase. Certainly well worth a visit if you are interested in the history of this product.

Like the bottles.
I almost cannot call this a museum. It looks like somebody put up together a few things. Nobody goes there.
That was nice place
