As a team focus Mom raising a Son alone was one of the hardest challenge by far. Then one day after moving from California, a friend who had a son in team focused suggested I call. I did and my son, Jason and I lives was never the same. Meeting Coach Mike and his Professional, supportive, loving, and God fearing staff not only Saved my sons life, but taught him how to "let go of the pain of not having a father figure, and trust the Heavenly, Father, God." Jason was also taught to trust others, build lasting relationships with his peers, mentors, sister and me, his Mom. The yearly camps, leadership workshops,weekly activities, and sporting events were definitely one of the many highlights of Team Focus. The staff not only focused on the boys, they also knew the importance of healthy mental health for the Moms and care givers. Christy, started a Mom's support group. We would meet to discuss strategies, issues, concerns, and growth and development concerning our boys. Their would be tears, hugs, laughter and life long bonds and friendships between the Moms.We would have dinner, parties, group sessions and outings to spas and recreation. I will never forget the Mother's Cruise on the HOLIDAY in 2009. The wives and families sacrificed so much for the boys and their families to help carry out the Mission of Team Focus. Today, my son is living out the many "Nuggets" taught by the Committed, dedicated and passionate Team Members at Team Focus.
